Parking Advisory Famous Idaho Potato Bowl December 21st, 2018

FAMOUS IDAHO POTATO BOWL

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2018

KICKOFF: 2 p.m.

 

To facilitate a better understanding of permit restrictions and alternative parking for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the following information is specifically prepared for all Boise State permit holders.

 

Cross-parking is encouraged, and will be in effect, by availability, in surface lots on Friday,  December 21, 2018. For further information on cross-parking rules please visit our cross-parking webpage.

 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING:

Accessible parking will be available in the Engineering Tech lot, beginning at 8 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018. All accessible parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be refilled if vacated. The vehicle must display an ADA license plate or placard, and the placard/license plate registrant must be an occupant in the vehicle.

 

STREET RESTRICTIONS:

Grant Avenue – Grant Avenue, between Belmont Street and University Drive, will be closed for security operations starting Thursday night, December 20, 2018 at 12:00 midnight, and remain closed until the end of the game.

Euclid Avenue – Euclid Avenue, between University Drive and Belmont Street, and from Belmont Street to Beacon Avenue,  will be closed for security operations starting Thursday night, December 20, 2018 at 12:00 midnight, and remain closed until the end of the game.

 

Alternative parking locations will be available beginning at 6 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018.

 

Your support and understanding for vehicle relocations during the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is appreciated!

 

CAMPUS SHUTTLE INFORMATION:

 The Blue and Orange Campus Shuttle lines will not be in service due to the bowl game. Shuttles will be working the game.

The following lots close on Thursday night, December 20, 2018 at 12:00 midnight:

  • West Stadium
  • Bronco Circle
  • Engineering Tech (modified)
  • Alumni (AFC)
  • Large portions of Bronco Circle

All vehicles must exit on Thursday night, December 20, 2018 prior to 12:00 midnight.

Engineering Technology lot may still be accessed from University Drive. All vacated spaces will become reserved for gameday accessible parking.

  • South Commuter Lot at Beacon and Manitou
  • South Commuter lot at Grant and Beacon
  • Lincoln Garage  
  • West Reserve, including Capitol Village
  • As well as campus cross-parking availability.
 

East Commuter and South Commuter Permit Holders:

Lots

The following lots close on Thursday night, December 20, 2018 at 12:00 midnight:

  • East Stadium
  • Denver / Beacon
  • Grant Commuter Lots

All vehicles must exit on Thursday night, December 20, 2018 prior to 12:00 midnight.

  • South Commuter Lot at Beacon and Manitou
  • South Commuter lot at Belmont between Euclid and Grant (Tree Lot)
  • Boas
  • Yanke
  • West Commuter (Health Science Riverside)
  • Dona Larsen Park
