Want to Drive Boise State’s Electric Car?

The Boise State University Department of Public Safety, Transportation, Parking and Safety Systems has made its Nissan Leaf electric car available for rental by Boise State students, faculty and staff members with valid Boise State identification cards.

The 2013 Leaf seats four passengers. Maximum rental period is 24 hours to allow for battery recharge. Rental is $28/day or $4/hour.

The department recently partnered with Local Motion to provide real time reservations and improve access to the university’s motor pool fleet.
